Obamacare—Powers Never Delegated

The U.S. Constitution never delegated to the federal government the powers to manage health care, nor did the states, counties, cities or people.

Obamacare is force and coercion. Controlling health care at several levels higher than what our souls know to be right creates outrage!

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.—Tenth Amendment

Government’s proper role is not to force the redistribution of wealth. Obamacare is an unconstitutional power grab that must be vigorously rejected.

“if we can but prevent the government from wasting the labours of the people, under the pretence of taking care of them, they must become happy.”1—Thomas Jefferson

Written by lobbyists to favor insurance companies, surely Thomas Jefferson would have listed Obamacare as an abuse in the Declaration of Independence.

Every state and county must nullify Obamacare. No patriotic citizen in good conscience should ever sign up for it.

Our elected representatives failed us.

Let’s thank Congressman Jason Chaffetz for his six years of public service and release him so he can serve his country in another capacity. Vote Robert Stevens for Congress. Let me show you what I can do.
